Saving a copy allows you to access the basic template at any time. Save, revise and format your label design Before making any formatting changes or implementing any design elements to your label, make sure to save a copy of the base template. In this box, select the option for "New Document." When you click the "New Document" button, it opens a separate document displaying your label template. Once you've named the label, click "Ok" to return to the "Envelopes and Labels" box. Giving your template a unique or descriptive name can help you find and access it as needed. Name and open your template After filling in each of the required fields for your label's dimensions, name your template by typing into the "Label name" field. The fields require you to enter details for your template:Ĥ. The schematic portrayed in the dialog box automatically adjusts when you change the label dimension so you can see how each change affects the look of the final template. These fields allow you to customize the size of the label to meet your specific needs. Enter your label measurements In the "Label Details" box, enter your label dimensions by filling out each required field. Next, select the option for "New label" to open a dialog box titled "Label Details." You can adjust the settings in the "Label Details" box to create your template. Open the label options menu Once you've opened the "Envelopes and Labels" menu, choose the "Options" button to create a new label template. After selecting the "Mailings" tab, click on the "Labels" option to open the "Envelopes and Labels" window. The toolbar is the panel that runs along the top of the screen where you can select various document management options. Open a blank document and navigate to the "Labels" option To create a custom label template, start by opening a blank document and then click the "Mailings" tab in the toolbar. To have Avery print your address labels, click Let Us Print and have the company print and deliver the printed address labels to your home or office. To customize your address labels using the Printer options, click Print It Yourself.Use Edit All to make changes on all the labels or Edit One to make changes on an individual label.Click Finish once you have finalized the format of your address label. If you want to delete a wrongly-placed field, delete the field. Arrange your data by dragging the selected field on the left to the right bar.Uncheck the data you do not want to include in your address label.Choose the spreadsheet file which contains the address list you want to import to Avery. Click the edge of the text box and click Import Data from the menu bar.Click the text box and customize its size to fit the address you want to print.Choose from the available templates by clicking Select this Design.Start a new project by typing the Avery product number.
